What languages can I learn?

Currently, DialogoVivo supports learning English, German, Czech, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Hindi. We are always working to add more languages based on feedback from our wonderful community!

Is DialogoVivo good for beginners?

Absolutely! The app is designed for all levels, from A1 (Beginner) to C2 (Advanced). Our AI cleverly adjusts the conversation's difficulty to match your proficiency, so you'll always feel challenged but never overwhelmed.

What happens if I make a mistake while speaking?

Mistakes are part of learning! Our AI instantly checks your messages. If there's a more natural way to say something, a 'Phrase Correction' card will pop up showing you the improved version with a simple explanation in your native language.

How is my progress tracked?

On the 'Statistics' screen, you'll find your 'Performance Profile' visualized in a cool radar chart that tracks four key skills: Task Achievement, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Grammar. You can also watch your vocabulary grow and see how much of each category you've mastered.

What are Daily Tasks?

Daily Tasks are your personal learning plan! Each day, you get a fresh set of activities like vocabulary warm-ups, new dialogs, and review quizzes, all tailored to your level. It’s the perfect way to build a consistent learning habit.

What are coins and how do I use them?

Coins are your daily energy for practicing dialogs. You get a fresh batch every day (20 for free users, 50 for premium). Starting a new dialog costs 10 coins. This system encourages you to practice a little bit each day. Remember, they don't roll over, so use them while you can!

What is a practice streak and how do I keep it?

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days you've practiced—it's a great motivator! If you miss a day, you might lose it, but you can protect it with 'Streak Freezes' that you earn automatically for being consistent.

What's the difference between the Free and Premium versions?

The Free version gives you access to a great selection of dialogs and all core features. A Premium subscription unlocks our entire library of scenarios, gives you more daily coins (50 instead of 20) for extra practice.

Some dialogs are marked as 'Trial.' What does that mean?

We want to make learning accessible! 'Trial Access' gives users with specific native languages free access to part of premium content when learning certain new languages. For example, native Ukrainian speakers can currently access some premium courses for Polish, German, Czech, and English completely free.

Can I learn more than one language at a time?

Yes, you can! DialogoVivo lets you create multiple 'courses' for each language you're learning. You can easily switch between them at any time to focus on the language you want to practice that day.

How does the vocabulary review feature work?

We use a smart 'Spaced Repetition' system. After you learn new phrases, the app will quiz you on them in your Daily Tasks at the perfect time—just before you might forget them. It’s a scientifically proven method for locking vocabulary into your long-term memory.

Does the app's interface change based on the language I'm learning?

It does! The app automatically switches its interface to match the native language of your active course. So, if you're a Polish speaker learning English, the app's menus will be in Polish to make it easy for you to navigate.

How accurate is the speech recognition?

We use state-of-the-art speech recognition that understands what you're saying, even with different accents. It gives you a reliable way to practice your speaking skills. And if you're ever in a noisy place, you can always type your responses!

Do I need an internet connection to use the app?

Yes, an active internet connection is needed to connect with our AI, start conversations, and get real-time feedback. DialogoVivo is an online experience designed to give you the most interactive and helpful practice possible.
